Question
Please help, my kitty Seymour is 8 months old and has had diarhhea on 4 of the 5 food I have tried to give him. The only food he is good on is Iams and I refuse to give him that anymore. He has tried Wellness, Innova Evo, Natural Balance and currently California Natural. It seems that all the high protein foods make him sick. He has been to  the vet many times and she says stay on Iams, help!

Answer
Hi Cherie.  I think that if your cat is sick on Iams, you need to switch foods.  Your vet needs to do a fecal test (a poop test) and a urine test a well to see if there is something internal that is causing the diarrhea for this long.  If your little boy is eating Iams Kitten with fish, I'd suggeset trying plain ol' chicken formula.  Sometimes male cats have issues with fish based foods.

Good luck!
