what to do

my cat's name is nala she is about 1 year old and she just had her first litter of kittens a week and a half ago, when they were born we put them in a quite hall closet that she could get in and out of, she's been fine up ontill today. she seems really anxious and keeps trying to move them, the problem is that she keeps trying to move them to my daughters room and it is not safe in there for them, what should i do??

Hi Shannah, it is not unusual for a cat to try to move her kittens. Just keep your daughters room door closed and she will not be able to get in there with them. You might want to try to offer her an alternate place that you think is safe. Put a box with a blanket in a dark quiet place and keep showing it to her. ie the basement?
