constipated kitten

I have a 6 to 7 week old kitten that was rescued at about 5 weeks. The first of this week he was very ill with what the vet thinks was a bacterial infection. He had very bad diarhea and wouldn't eat. He put him on amoxicillon and thankfully he has made a complete recovery. My problem now is that he is constipated and I was wondering if you have any hints to get that staightened out.

go back to the vet, just you , not the cat, and ask for cat laxative. it isnt really a laxative, but helps with digestion and elimination. while you are at the vet you might want to mention that he is constipated and see if there is anything they will give you without seeing him.
