bloody stool in cat

Question
I am looking for subsidized vet care in the Joliet, IL area for my 2 year old cat that has bloody stool.  Thanks.

Answer
Unfortunately I'm unsure of any such clinic in your area. I would suggest grabbing a phonebook, or visiting yellowpages.com, and looking under veterinarian clinics. Call them, and find out whether they will offer some kind of financial assistance or discount. If not, call your local shelter or rescue operation. They may willing to help you out.

Have you noticed any other symptoms in your cat? You might want to take a small sample of the stool to the vet, so s/he can test it for parasites or other abnormalities.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more of a help!
