Everytime before my cat goes to bed in my room, she puts her tail down, purrs loudly, and claws my sheets while walking around. She is spayed and very old but won't stop until she is satisfied with her sleeping spot. Why is she doing this and how can I help it?

Hi Carly,

You don't need to help her.  She is doing that because she is happy, and she wants her spot to be just right.  My cats do similar things all the time.  Give her lots of love and attention, and enjoy her wonderful purring sounds.  I sure do.  :)
