I have an in house female 18yr old calico cat, that has been bleeding light pink blood from the rectum for a couple of hours now. She is still drinking and eating her soft food and is now resting.

Jimney should be assessed by a veterinarian ASAP as this may be an indication that something serious is going on. At her age my concerns would tend to be for the much more serious issues than fairly minor ones, but a vet will have to make that determination after assessing her.
