kittens being born

Question
My cat has had 2 kittens her tummy is still moving about but it has been 2 hours since she had her 2nd kitten should I be worried

hi Tracy, I wouldn't worry  yet. It can take up to 12 hours between kittens. If it is over 12 hours since the 2nd kitten was born then you should take her to the vet. They will have to give her an oxytocin injection to get her contractions started again. Teresa
