Is it normal fo rmy pregnant cat to lose her mucus plug over a 4 day period?

Question
Hi. SO my cat is pregnant and from what I can tell due anytime. I am not sure of her exact due date as she only got outside of the house once (and apparently once is enough!) and I can't remember the date. She is very large, nipples are very pink, very affectionate, and mostly just lays and chills all day. But I am not allowed to leave her alone. for the last 2 days whenever I try to leave a room she cries for me. Is this normal?
I noticed that she lost her mucus plug about 4 days ago. but then last night I noticed her losing more of it. Is that normal or should it all have gone at once? The kittens are very active inside her belly. You can see them moving around in there. She looks so uncomfortable when she walks. She is also all the sudden starting to stick her butt in the air like she is in heat alot. I am rally wondering when she is going to have them but I know logically that it will happen when she is ready. It's just hard cause I don't want to leave her alone since she gets upset when I do. Any suggestions on what I should expect? Or if this mucus plug thing is common?

Answer
Hi Cami,

This sounds like she is just about to deliver. By the time you get this she may have already had her kits. Here are a couple of links that will give you some more info that will help you.
