On heat?

I have 2 cats, one male and one female. The female is 1 year n 5 months old. The vet told me that she might be infertile since she's a bit late. But today, she's laying on the floor and wont even make a movement and made some really weird noises. Her behavior is also really weird. What are the signs to show that a female cat is on heat?

Sorry, I couldn't get back to you sooner, my Internet went down. That does not sound like being in heat. I would get her checked by the vet. If she was in heat she would be meowing loudly and arching her back a lot. Have her checked out. Good luck.
