Pepper Hi,

Well my cat is 12 years old and lately she's been throwing up LARGE quantities of semi- whole dried cat food. And she has also Pooped on a rug near a corner in my house where she has previously urinated. My mom wants to take her to a shelter soon, please help!

At age 12, Pepper is a geriatric cat and like geriatric people may have developed a medical issue. Have you taken Pepper to the vet to find out what is going on? If Pepper is placed, she will have a very hard time adjusting to a new environmment. I am not a vet, but it sure sounds like a medical issue to me.

If a cat has an "accident" urinating or defecating, it neesd to be cleaned up with an enzyme based product specifically for pet stains and pet odors. These are available at any pet supermarket or farm store.

Please let me know what the vet says.
