cat eyes

Hey,
I have had several cats and I have noticed something very strange in most of them. They started develping a cloudiness in their eyes. I have taken them to the vet on many occasions and gotten both ointments and drops but nothing seems to help and one cat in particular has it on both eyes and it is getting worse. I don't want my cat to be blind. I you have any possible ideas I would appreciate them.

when you look at them in the eyes do you see like a white/somewhat shiny like in their pupils??? if so then they are possibly going blind, but if it is a infection and the meds arent working then maybe ask your vet for a stronger doesage.
