i ave a kiten born march 10 this yr he tends to urinate on clothes piles plstic bags bath tub mostly and our down comforter 3 times so far family fiends think he has an infection but he uses liter to poop most of time onece in a while its tub for that too i believe it is a behavior he urinates large amounts at a tim is why i dont believe its an infection but want to be safe what is your opinion

Hi Gary,

It is not very likely for a kitten to have urinary tract infection. However, you might want to bring it to a vet for a check-up, if you want to be sure.

I suppose the issue here is that your kitten has not learnt to use the cat litter box to urinate. Therefore, to solve the problem is to train your lovely kitten to use the litter box consistently.

You can put him there after he has eaten and drank his water. Allow him to leave the cat litter area only after he has poo/urine.
