QuestionQUESTION: I'm hoping you can help me identify my cat's breed (or the part of her that gives her a very, very long body). She doesn't look Siamese. I've never seen a cat with such a long torso. Any thoughts? Thanks very much for your help.
ANSWER: Kathy,
Do you have a picture?
There are a couple of breeds that do have very long torsos, usually with very long legs. A couple of pictures from different angles would be helpful.

QUESTION: Here are the photos you requested. (It looks like I can only send you one at a time.) Thanks again!
AnswerKathy,
Thank you for sending all four pictures.
What I think she is most like is a blue mackeral tabby short haired Oriental. Orientals have Siamese like bodies (long and svelte), but come in a variety of colors and patterns. Usually, they have very short tight coats, but, coming from the feral population (originally), her coat is a bit different. However, her body style is more oriental than anything else. These cats tend to come with a longer wedge shaped heads, slighter boning, all of which fits together to make a daintier looking but very tough kitty.
I hope this helps.
Best regards... Norm.
