Question
as dry feed, we get whiskas. staple food at home is rice. We mix rice, milk, and whiskas. they are eating happily. This is becuase people told me that one should not feed cats entirely of dry food. Sometimes, we give them just whiskas just to treat them. otherwise, we can buy eggs, mutton, chicken, beaf etc, but as i told you earlier, we don't allow meat into our kitchen, so no cooking of meat!

Question -
Hi there! Our home is a vegetarian home, and I have difficulty in providing correct nutrition to our two cats. can you give me a solution for me to make my cats big, healthy and strong?

Answer -
Cats are made different than we are.  They NEED meat in order to SURVIVE. That is why they are called "obligate carnivores." If you prefer to buy your cat food at the
grocery store, Purina One or Iams is a good choice. At the pet store..Purina Pro Plan, Nutro Natural Choice, and Science Diet are all very good choices too.

Answer -
why don't you tell me what you are feeding them now and I
will tell you what you need to add to it  thanks
also what animal meats are available in your area (eggs, etc)  their protein source must come from animal

Answer
Whiskas should be 100% complete and balanced for all life stages. http://www.whiskas.com

You should not have to give your cat anything else
to eat but about 3/4 cup of Whiskas daily. Adding rice is not necessary..if you want to give her milk as a treat, that is fine. There is nothing wrong with giving a cat dry food and will help keep her teeth healthy.

Cats are bad about drinking..so make sure you have plenty of fresh water out for her. (change and clean her bowl daily)  Another trick is to let the
faucet drip (very lightly) and this will attract her to it
and encourage her to drink more water.

Also, giving her milk will make sure she gets fluids.  To check if she is dehydrated (which would be unusual) just lift the skin on
the back of her neck up, and it should snap back into place
instead of standing there.
