breeding purebreed shelter cats

A shelter was going to put down a very sick little flame point so, of course, I rescued it. We bottle fed him, and he has grown into a fine male teenager.  I am considering breeding the beautiful (and very sweet) cat.  Is it possible to get papers to register a shelter flame point siamese for breeding?

Generally, most feline registries will not "foundation" register a Siamese.  You can check with the registries in your country to see what they may do in your situation.  Before doing so, however, you may want to visit a cat show in your area and talk to some of the Siamese breeders.
