can my stress affect my cats? PS...

Question
This is in addition to a question I 'just' submitted a minute ago.
I would also like to say, we have a very small rented home, in Northern New Brunswick Canada, where all cats are 'outdoors' cats, but can not always get out, or want out because of the cold weather... this could also add to all of our over all stress on top of everything else!
Sincerely,
Denise :)

Answer
Being made to stay indoors when they are used to going out can, indeed, be stressful.  When I used to allow my cats outside, they would get terrible spring fever during the long winter months.  I keep my cats all inside now.  It took about 2 months for them to adjust.
