pregnant cat nipple care

Hello, My cat is within a week of giving birth.  Her milk sacks are quite full though no discharge.  They seem to be rather in the dry side.  Is there anything I can rub on her nipples to make them less dry?

Hi Theresa,

Go to the drug store and get something called Bag Balm. Use this on her teats. It was originally developed for cows udders but people found out it was great for dry hands. You should be able to find it in almost any drug store. Use this. It will help her. Good luck.
