Question
I have a cat that was emaciated and homeless as a kitten, i took her in and she seems to have a diarrhea problem and a vomiting problem, i think it originates from the ingredients in our pet food and treats we give to our cats. I am unsure of what type of treats and food to give her because she has a weak stomach due to her past emaciation. I have been told she will struggle with it the rest of her adult life and would like to find the right type of food and treats for her in case she gets a new home. Your help would be most appreciated.

Answer
You didn't mention if you've taken her to the vet to rule out health problems like FELV or FIV - high risk factors since she was a stray.

IF health problems are ruled out it will be trial and error as to what she can tolerate. Once you find one brand/type of food that works, stick with it and never change it. Don't worry about treats right now
You could try Purina One Sensitive Stomachs formula if you want me to throw out a name....
