Cat nip

Hi Norman,

I'm not sure if this is a question for you or not but thought I would give it a shot. Why is it that cats go so crazy for catnip? What does it do for them exactly and what is in it?

No one knows why cats seem to go crazy for catnip.  What we do know is that not all cats are affected, and cats can turn it on and off at will.

BTW, cats also can get turned on by dried honeysuckle, also.
