Cinnamon, mysterious Siamese

Cinnamon - mysterious   Hi, I picked you because you've owned Siamese, and I'm hoping you can help. :) I adopted a friendly female Siamese, 8 months old, from someone who got her at a pet store without information on what breed her parents were. People who have seen her would ask me just what kind of a Siamese she was as they've not seen one like her. I dont have an answer and would like to know myself. She has milk chocolate points, beautiful pale blue eyes, long legs, lean body, big ears, is an apple-head, and her paws (especially her back paws) have some pinkish color. Now she is brown everywhere except where the points are darker brown. She has faint tabby markings on her legs, and a few, very faint cream spots on her back - as if she's a fawn! The tips of her ears have tufts on them (adorable!). I assume she's a mix, since I could not find a picture of a Siamese looking like her. My vet thinks she is a rare Chocolate Point Siamese, she's only seen 2 cats like her, but not sure either. Do you have any idea? Thank you. :) We named her Cinnamon, Cinna for short. She makes us smile everyday!

Cinnamon IS a beauty! She is too dark and "cool" to be a chocolate point, though. And while without a pedigree, anything is just a guess, I am thinking her looks are actually much more characteristic of a seal mink Tonkinese. This breed is an offshoot of the Siamese, similar in personality, although a little less demanding and with a softer voice. They are also rounder, accounting for Cinnamon's gentle face. Their eyes tend to range from aqua to icey blue (in the mink color), rather than the more intense blues often seen in the Siamese, and I think Cinna's eyes match that color more closely. Seal minks also have less distinction between their body color and their points than Siamese. And at just 8 months, Cinna still has quite a bit of darkening to do. So there you have my opinion. Whatever her background, she's adorable!
