my cat is backing of from me why

last night my cat was out all night and today when i went to pick it up it backed of i dont know why. it is walking fine and everything but it backed of from me which is out of character for my cat please help

Is the cat normally out all night? If not, the cat may be mad at you for not letting it in when it wanted in. Just give it extra love and attention, and maybe some special cat treats. That should help. If not, write back, and we can investigate further.
