lost cat..

my friends cat has ran away, only thing is she was dvd kittens any day now. would she have gone far considering she is an indoor cat and hasn't done this before.. her house is surrounded by fields. is there any chance that she could bring them back wit her because its winter time and she has been missing since Wednesday evening.

She may have gone off to deliver the kittens. Unfortunately, anything can happen in the wild.  So, I would guess that your friend just has to wait and see.

Cats do not usually stray far from their home territory, but they are experts at hiding in plain sight.  So, your friend may be able to spot her.  Also, cats can hide their kittens, so no one would ever find them.

You can check with all the neighbors, the local veterinary hospitals, the local shelters, the local RSPCA to see if anyone has seen her.

If she is not spotted close to home, your friend will just have to wait and hope.
