Cat odor

My cat has recently stated giving off a bad odor through her skin. She has never smelt like this, does not spend a lot of time out and has always been a very clean cat. this had been going on now for about a fortnight, she is only 7 years old.

Skin odors are usually a sign of some sort of skin infection. It could be bacterial or yeast infection. Does she have any patchy areas or areas with any hair loss? I would take her to your vet to get her looked at. Your vet will be able to clear up the underlying problem that is causing this problem. Good luck.
