my cats eye

My sweet cat is about 11 yes old.  She was dianosed with a possible tumor growing in her face.  I want to get her to another vet for a second oinion.  Her left eye is tearing a blood coming out of it.  It is a mess.  Could she have an eye disease, and is she in pain?  kay

First off, I am not a veterinarian, but, if it were my cat, I would see a veterinary ophthalmologist immediately.

As for being in pain, she probably is.  However, cats are so stoical about pain, they can be in quite a bit of pain and not show it at all.

If the tumor is on or near the left side of her face, it could, certainly, compromise the left eye.  Given her age, a tumor is certainly not out of the question.  If the tumor is, indeed, present, whether or not it is malignant is a whole other issue!!!!!
