Edmund 5 1/2 months ol Hi, my husband and I rescued Edmund our 5 1/2 month old kitten from a truck when he was 3 1/2 months old. We are convinced that he has forest cat in him (which makes us really happy since we have always wanted one). He is the most patient kitten I have ever seen, has a high-pitched soft meow,super super soft spun silk fur, turned up eyes, very rounded ears, long long fur between his toes, a tail that gets longer and bushier by the day, and a beautiful ruff gets longer by the day. We were wondering if we could confirm that he does indeed have forest cat in him. Also he loves water, is ridiculously sweet, is extremely intelligent, and immediately was smitten with our six other cats. Thanks in advance for the help! Kacy

It looks to me that he has lots of Maine Coon behind him.

If you are located in the USA or Canada, Maine Coons are the indigenous longhaired breed in North America, so it is likely he is mostly Maine Coon.
