Question
Danger to Dog being close to people smoking crack or pot

I have heard that crack second hand smoke is poison to dogs and cats like it.  I also smoke pot around all my dogs and cats.
I expire the smoke out the window not to effect the dog but I worry that even in small amount it may have a toxic effect.  Do you have any information about this risk and how big a risk it is if I make an effort to rid the smoke out of the area of my pets.
I do know that drugs are not recommended in general.  I am just worried specifically about the crack smoke and not too worried about the pot smoke but curious to know if dogs and cats do get stoned of second hand pot smoke.
Thank you for your answer in advance!  :)

Answer
Hi David,

be cautious around your pets with drugs period. Their systems are more sensitive then ours and have have very bad consequences from the smoke.

If you must smoke crack, then make sure you do it by an open window-blow the smoke that way too.

But, the best bet would be to stop.
