becoming a vet tech

Im doing a project for my Home Ec. class at Lakewood Ranch High School, and I was wondering if you could answer some questions for me. My first question is do you like being a vet tech?
What do you have to wear on the job? Do you like your salary rates and what are they? Can a vet tech specialize on a specific animal? My last question is, what kinds of personality traits does one have to acquire that tie in with the job? Thankyou for taking the time to answer my questions.

1. of course i like being a vet tech :)

2. I wear scrubs and sneakers since I'm on my feet all day

3.  the $ is OK, not the best

4. yes, you can specialize. i specialize in cats. you can also specialize in anesthesia, dentistry and internal medicine and behavior

5. you have got to love animals, like people and be VERY dedicated.
