Spot on nose

My 9 month old dachsund puppy suddenly has a pink spot on her nose- where the black part of her nose meets the fur. It has gotten bigger, slightly. It doesn't seem to hurt her as i can touch it and it isn't raised. It seems to be darkening also. What could this be? Should i be concerned? She is otherwise incredibly healthy, energetic etc....and has had no skin problems in the past.

She may be "rooting" with her nose, trying to go under something, like a bedroom door.  She may also have a disease called pemphigus or discoid lupus. These diseases cause the top layer of skin to slough off, revealing the pink tissue underneath. Your vet will need to look at this lesion and tell you.
