Why would a dog have a low temp.? He not a dog that gets into things hes not supposed to. Please help. This guy is my do everything buddie.

Answer
Hi Jim!  It definitely sounds as though your dog is in need of veterinary care.  Abdmoninal x-rays and blood work would be a must in decifering what is causing these symptoms in your dog.  A low temperature can be caused by many things.  A dog's normal temperature (taken rectally) is 101.5 to 102.5.  If your dog's temperature is below 99, he may be suffering from a serious ailment.  Getting your dog to your veterinarian as soon as possible would be the very best thing for him.
Please let me know how he does,
Hilary
