MY WIFE AND I JUST HELPED A NEIGHBOR GET HER CAT OUT FROM UNDERNEATH HER BACK DECK,INTHE PROCESS MY WIFE GOT BITE BY THE CAT TWICE,ONCE IN THE ARM AND THE OTHER ON HER THUMB. MY NEIGHBOR JUST GOT THE CAT AS A KITTEN BACK IN JAN. OF 2008 AND ITS HAS HAD ALL ITS SHOTS INCLUDING RABIES. WHAT SHOULD MY WIFE DO ABOUT THE CAT BITES? DOES SHE NEED ANY KIND OF SHOTS HERSELF, TETANUS,ETC SHE CLEANED THE BITE MARKS REAL GOOD THEN APPLIED A ANTIBOTIC OINTMENT AND COVERED WITH GAUZE. THANK YOU

You should contact animal control and your personal physician with these questions.  I can not treat humans, nor can I give medical advice to humans.....  Now if the cat bit your pet, I'm the one to ask ;-)

As far as the cat goes, animal control can help you determine what needs to be done with the cat.  Laws are different in each state, but typically they will recommend a 10 day quarrantine for a vaccinated pet that bit a human.
