Feeding Japanese Chin

Question
Can I/should I feed my 18-month old Japanese Chin the bones left after "humans" have eaten beef short ribs? Thank you. Mary

Answer
NO. Never feed a dog any kind of bones like that. Bones that are cooked splinter and pierce intestines and stomach walls. I have seen more than one dog die from this.

Dogs are not wolves, and wolves eat the whole animal, so hair and other things cover the bones they eat as they pass through them. If you want to throw them a whole rabbit it would be safer than a bone (but not recommended of course!).
So, the short answer, NO!!
