small dog sick from white chocolate

Good evening,
My daughter's small dog (10 lbs.)got into a bag of white chocolate chips and ate 1/4-1/3 of the bag.  He has been throwing up and very lethargic and drinking water right before he vomits.  I understand that white chocolate is not as toxic as dark, but I am still concerned because of the sugar and fat content.  Also, the amount is of concern since he is so small.

Your daughter's dog may have temporary gastroenteritis from ingesting the white chocolate or something more serious like Pancreatitis. I am not that worried about chocolate toxicity as the signs of that are seizures, heart arrythmias, hyperactivity. I suggest a trip to your vet is indicated ASAP.
