Dog isnt drinking water

My Lhasa Apso, (Codie), has not been drinking water for a couple of days now.  He eats well and he urinates 2-3 times a day, but he isn't drinking water.  Is this normal, or should I be concerned?  He does have a Veterinarian in Mt. Pocono which he visits once a year for shots and checkup, however I am on Social Security Disablility and live on a fixed income.  I also don't have a car, and have to depend on my neighbors to take me to the Vet, the grocery store, etc., so if my question about Codie does not warrant an emergency trip to his Vet, I would be very grateful.  Thank you for your help.

If he is eating canned food, then he is less likely to drink water as canned food is 70% moisture.  I would recommend adding a few extra water dishes around the house.  You can also freeze some unsalted, fat-free chicken broth and see if he will chew on those ice cubes.
