My cat is jumping on the counter.

Question
 My kitten keeps jumping on the kitchen counter and gets into the dishes or food. I have tried spaying him with a water bottle. And he knows the sound of it (the bottle) but it just gets him off the counter. Two min. later he's back up on it. Is there any advise you can give me to help? He also loves to bite toes, he'll grow out of that right? Thank you for your help.

WELCOME TO OWNING A CAT! :)

They LOVE to play with toes! Most likely he will grow out of it, for now wear socks.

As for the counter, get a 'tattler' you can find these at pet stores on online. its a small alarm that you set on the counter that annoys the cat. After a few times of this most cats won't go up there again.
