Fading coat color on Lhasa

Question
I adopted Yogi one year ago as a rescue (he was found laying in a road being left for dead after being hit by a car - no permanent injuries).  Best guess is that he is approximately 3 years old and was not neutered until I adopted him.  He had a gold and white coat.  I've been feeding him Pedigree canned and kibble but over this year his gold has faded out almost completely and he has itchy skin.  I'm assuming it's from a bad diet and I need to fix that fast.  I would gladly cook for him every day if no commercial feed meets his dietary requirements.  He weighs 16.5 pounds, eats twice daily (no human food) and gets a very modest ration of doggie treats.  I'm extremely concerned about his color loss.  Can you suggest anything?

Answer
Hi Cindy:  yes, you have been feeding a poor quality dog food.  Sorry, there is no other way to say that.
Here are some suggestions for your little Yogi:

Try to get him onto a quality canned and dry food.  Can you find Innova Evo in the pet store?  If not let me know.
Innova Evo dry and Innova Canned will be wonderful for him.

Also, a great skin and coat supplement/ NuVET Plus -
Below is the NuVET link

NuVET is NOT sold in any stores: only by kennels and breeders:

My personal site : http://www.apluspetcare.com/untitled4.html Natural Alternatives - Yum Yum good, too
Cure the Hot Spots for good! Only about .55 cents per day for this wafer treat/ supplement

Let me know how he does with the new food and NuVET supplement.

thanks and good luck
