anesthesia in pregnant cats

Question
I recently rescued a cat after it was hit by a car.  The cat was put under anesthesia (induction with ketamine and valium, maintained on isoflurone, given torbugesic as a premed and Buprenorphine for pain).   However, afterwards, we realized the cat was pregnant, and we guess that she is 6-7 weeks into term.  Will the drugs used have any harmful or negative effects on the kittens?

Answer
Hi Jenelle! The only thing in that anesthetic/pain management event that might be a problem is the isoflurane, because if is so fat soluble and could get into the kittens. I think that it would be a minimal effect. The major effect on the kittens would be from the trauma of being hit by a car.
