senior female poodle bleeding problems

My female dog is 13yrs old and a month ago has just had her period. In the last day she has started bleeding again is she going through menopause or is there something wrong with her?

Answer
If your poodle is standard size, this is a very old age to still be having a period.  In fact, it's a good age even for a toy dog.  

Are you sure the bleeding was from her period and not some other cause?  I would take her to the vet and have her checked out to make sure it isn't something serious.
