food*** tooth infections?

our 16 year old cocker will not eat. He is drinking water OK - but is refusing food. He seems to have a sore mouth. What can I give him to eat? I have tried hand feeding - but he just rejects anything that is not water.

Hello Sue, sorry your kid is having troubles.  There could be an infected tooth.  You will need to bring him to a vet ASAP.  I am sure he is in some pain.
