Hello Ms. Peppers:

  We have a (we think) 16 year old Chow mix whom we adopted eight years ago.  She is suffering terribly from arthritis in her hips and paws.  Our vet put her on Rymadyl (I think spelling is correct), but only for a short time.  It seemed to help but we really don't want to go that route indefinitely.  Can you suggest a natural alternative?  Thank you so much for giving this question your time and attention.
