Question
My dogo argentino/great pyranese mix has had chronic ear infections for 7 years now! Its usually a mixture of both yeast and bacteria. He has been put on Postatex, Baytril gimmish, conofite solution, BNT, Zymox, ketocanazole, malaseb flush, chlorhexiderm flush, triotic, otolog, mometamax and more. I was having to get him sedated to have a deep ear cleaning quite often and now he is 8 years old and he is about 105lbs. He does not take to the torb and anesthia very well anymore.I cant keep putting him under and I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in the past few years trying to get to the bottom. He is on Taste of the Wild Salmon for food. Ive had an allergy test done and he is allergic to chicken, corn, peanuts, oats and much much more. He has been to over 5 vets for different opinions. Im sick of pumping in all these useless meds. Can someone PLEASE help me and my poor dog. He is in his final years and I want him to be happy and comfortable. PLEASE PLEASE help. Someone out there has to have the answer....

Answer
Hi Jenny,  Dog with Chronic Ear infections:  Try Probios... see below:

Ok, I see what you mean!  Wow ...   I see your list of medication but don't see a probiotic?
I would place this baby on Probios... It's Natural - low cost and very Safe.
SEE here - give daily as directed -
Tell your Vet you are adding a probiotic ( to control Yeast) ...

YOU can buy Probios powder at any horse Feed store/ pet store or ON-line.
Do not buy the treats - must be this powder

Is only about 20.00 and will last you more than 1 month.
I would do this daily for 90 to 120 days.

Please share this info with your Vet.

BEST wishes!
