2 x dogs and 1 x cat from South Africa to Czech Republic

Hello

I am considering an offer to work in Czech Republic and would be moving from Cape Town, South Africa to Prague. We would like to take our 2 border collie dogs and 1 cat. Please would you let me know whether they need to go through an extended period of quarantine on arrival in Czech Republic.

There will be NO quarantine in Prague.  I would recommend Lufthansa
via Frankfurt, or KLM via Amsterdam.
You should also contact Czech embassy or consulate for further info.
For EU, pets must be microchipped, rabies vac at least 30 days old
and less than 1 yr, health cert issued within 10 days of travel, and
the EU form 998.
In your case from So Afr, I think the pets will need the rabies
titre blood test and a wait of I think 3 mos.  From USA we do NOT
need to do the blood test.
