Question
QUESTION: I have recently purchased a home in Arizona and am going there in Sept for 2 months - Sadie ( my dog) is 12 years old and has mast cell tumors on her body - Am I going to have problems crossing the border as she does not look like the picture of health. also, what all do I need to bring with me or to make crossing over to the US - less stressful for her and for me.

ANSWER: This is a question best left up to your veterinarian to address.
Health cert and rabies vac to enter USA.  The h.c. should indicate
Sadie has no contagious diseases.
You say you are going to Arizona for 2 months.  Are you returning
to Canada?  Will Sadie stay in Arizona, or return to Canada?
If she is returning to Canada, I would suggest you not take her to
Arizona in the first place.
Wish I could help more, but this is out of my area of expertise.
Best of luck
Regards, Jerry Mishler

QUESTION: Why do you suggest sadie not return to canada, as yes I am planning on bringing her back home to canada with me in 2 months. - what problems do you see me encountering.

Answer
I just thought it would be more stress free for both of you if
Sadie didn't have to make both of these trips in just two months.
See what the vet says.  Are you flying or driving?  If flying, is it
a direct flight (non-stop) or connections?  This could be a major
factor as well.  If driving, this could be 2-3 days?  Does she ride
well?  Do NOT sedate.....
