Question
ok i set up a 55 gallon tank. did everything the rite way. my delema is this my tank has got extremely cloudy and i know to  expect that from the cycle, but i've tried to use accu-clear to clear up the tank and it does not work at all. is it normal for it not to work during this process. and will using this harm the fish in anyway. also i have 3 guaramies, 2 lg danios, 4 different tetras, 3 mollies, 2 platies, and 1 alagea eater in the tank is this to much and if do wut can i do to rememdy this w/ out haven to simply get rid of the excess fish. i would like to keep them all but if its to much for the tank rite now i need to do something else so as to keep them, all alive.    thanksin advance for any help u can give    ***JOE***

Hi Joe;

It is pretty normal for a tank to get cloudy during break-in. If the clearing products don't work you will have to ride it out. Make a partial water change (25%) and cut back on food a bit. Overfeeding is a common cause of excessive cloudiness during this time. Here also is a link to my article on new tanks;
