Need help fast!

QUESTION: I read where some of the questions arent answered for 3 days, I dont htink I have that long, I was the one asking questions about all the med I have used for cloudy eye and now he wont eat and spit up food from a week ago, still soft but not dissolved, jsut layed there on bottom of tank, I know it was from then as this is last time he ate. Please hurry to try to help me here, thanks again Cathy

I am sorry for your problems.
I reaaly need a lot more info.
What kind of fish?
How old?
What is the ammonia level in the tank?
For now, I would do a 75% water change ASAP to see if that helps.
You can also add 1 tsp of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water unless this is a tetra, then forget the salt.
Please pre-dissolve the salt.

QUESTION: HE IS AN AFRICAN CICHLID THAT STARTED OUT ABOUT A MONTH AGO WITH A CLOUDY EYE, I HAVE NOT STOPPED DOING WTER CHANGES SINCE, HE IS ALONE IN A 55 GALLON TANK, HAD HIM FOR 7 YEARS. HE INJURED THIS EYE AFTER AWILE ON A ROCK THAT I SINCE TOOK OUT, THEN THE OTHER EYE STARTED TO CLOUD, I HAVE BEEN USING EVERYTHING , WAS TOLD TO CLEAN OUT ALL MED AND LET IT GO AWHILE, HE HAD COPPER SAFE AND MYRACYN IN THIS WEEK, BUT BEFORE HAD BINOX, PARASITE GUARD, FUNGUS CLEAR TANK BUDDIES, ETC. NOTHING HELPED, HAS SOME WHITE SPOTS AROUND THE AREA OF HIS FOREHEAD I GUESS! I CLEANED WATER PUT BACK IN THE CARBON IN FILTERS AND ADDED SALT, WILL WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU THINK. HE IS STRESSED NOW AND I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS WHY HE WONT EAT OR IF IT IS DUE TO SICKNESS, PLEASE HELP, OF COURSE DURING ALL THIS I DID CLEAN WATER BEFORE AND AFTER EACH MED, ADDED CARBON, REMOVED CARBON!! tHANKS FOR ANYTHING i AM SO WORRIED NOW. I would still do a large water change.
Add the salt as I said.
He is 7 years old and that could be an issue. Their life span is about 8 years.
I hope he's OK, but no more meds. You might want to add a bit of Pima Fix. It's an all natural healer for fish, but as I said, he is 7 years already.
