Question
QUESTION: This morning, I went to feed my fish like normal and they all ate well. I cleaned the leftovers out and made sure the temperature was right and the filter was going.

I came back tonight after shopping and noticed my smaller oscar, a tiger, curled in the corner breathing heavily and clinging to the bubble bar.

His body is covered in a black fuzzy .. something.. Almost like the ick my other oscar had a year ago, and he had two white lines in his skin also covered in ick, only it was white. His eyes were closed completely, blocked off by a layer of what looks like skin almost.

The poor thing won't eat now, or swim on his own. My larger albino oscar will shield him from me, and then nudge him to swim. He'll come up for a gulp of air almost, and then run right back to the corner.
He seems to be running into walls and plants, so I assume he's completely blind right now. I removed the two plastic plants and house temporarily.

What can I do for him?
I'm borrowing a small tank to quarantine him, just in case this is contagious to the others.

:::This tank includes a red shark, a loach, a cichlid, large albino oscar, and the tiger oscar.

ANSWER: Aristes,
get him into a quarrentine tank, keep the temp around 85f and use some Clout which you can get at your local shop.
no carbon, light water ciculation.
You may also want to soak his food with a antibiotic, tetracyclene or similar.
I am not sure if we can save him here as i think there are multiple issues going on, use a mix of 60% fresh and 40% tank water for the hosp. tank.
Make sure the water quality in the main tank is up to par, PH, temp, ammonia, nitrates and such.
let me know how it turns out.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: This morning, I got up and went to check on him. His eyes had cleared some, but his scales were almost completely gone and he was bleeding from a hole in his side, and what I assume was blood began to seep into his eyes, under a cloudy film.

I decided it'd be best to sedate him with clove oil and finish what was intended for him. He was almost gone by the time I had set him in the water.

The medicine, Binox I believe it was, was the only thing available and it just didn't seem to work.
I'll keep your advice in mind if the others begin to exhibit the problems.

Thank you!

Answer
Sorry that things did not work out, however now would be the time to tune up the tank and make sure all parameters are within limits.
Also a good time to pick up a cichlid survival kit.
Clout is a wide ranging med that can eliminate several things.
It would be a good idea to have some on hand as well as as some backup antibiotics..
if you need further assistance , just ask.
