My 20 Gal aquarium is cloudy

Hi,

It was going on 10 day to change the h2o in my tank so I removed about 1/2 the h2o and added a little too much bacteria because the bottle was almost empty so I just poured all of it in. After a few days the tank got real cloudy so I changed the h2o in only 3 days and the h2o got even more cloudy so I changed the h2o in only 2 days trying to dilute the h2o but every time I change the h2o it gets worse. Any ideas on how to get the h2o to clear? I noticed when the bacteria is real high like it is I don't need to change the filter as often but the tank looks terribly dirty.

When I ran into this same problem with my tank...after much experimenting and hours upon hours of wondering why my tank was doing this...I found the real solution to the problem was to just leave it alone.  You might want to have your water tested to see if there is any build up of ammonia or nitrate.
