compatible fish species

Hi Nori.

I was just wondering what you would recommend to buy for my 10 gallon heated aquarium.  I already have a peppered catfish and an otocynculus.  What would you suggest for good options?

Hi Quin,
Thank you for your question. The best people to answer that question are the sales staff at your local aquarium supply shop. Get to know them and buy all your supplies from them. They are a good resource. I don't like to comment on fish compatibility, but it sounds like your plecto and catfish would probably get along with anyone. Just don't over crowd it. Ten gallons is small. You may have to get a larger tank a few years down the road, because plectos can grow very large. They are like little whales, can really develop charcter.
