Question
I have a 10 gallon tank and a redbelly pacu by itself and im wanting to know about how long will it be before it needs a bigger tank. Im not wanting to get rid of it.

Answer
Hi Adam,
Red-belly Pacus are beautiful fish. If given good care, which includes good balanced meals, and frequent large water changes, you could expect your pacu to grow at a rate of about an inch or so per month. Every individual is different but these are general guidelines.

Best of luck! They are such amazing creatures when they reach their eventual full size of 24 inches and bigger!
