Bugsin my fish tank!

Question
I have had my 10 gallon freshwater fish tank for over a year now with 6 white clouds and 6 neons (I've had one of the neons for almost that long and just about 2 months ago got the rest of the fish). We just recently moved and unfortunately it's taken a little longer than usual to clean the tank. When I cleaned it tonight I noticed on the top of the water looked like it had suds around the rim and then when I looked closer I noticed that there was thousands of tiny orange like colored "bugs" or "worms" swimming everywhere!!! The fish seem to love them and are scarving down on them! Is this okay or will they be dead tomorrow?? I have never seen this before and it's really scary. I noticed that on other peoples questions they seem to be describing these same bugs, but as white bugs!? They look orange or red to me and are like 1/2 a cm small! Please help me ASAP!! I don't want to lose any of my fish! Thanks

Answer
Hi Angel;

Sounds just fine and natural to me. The fish are having a great time feeding on their natural food source...bugs! Cleaning the tank probably stirred things up and exposed the little critters. I wouldn't worry about it. The fish are taking care of it just fine.
