QUESTION: My fish most of the time is staying straight upin down(head down tail up)and not eating.Is something wrong with it?

ANSWER: Hi Tabitha:  could be that your puffer is constipated.  Try feeding is aquatic snails and maybe a frozen pea (thawed).  He might eat live brine shrimp.  Puffers need snails to keep their beak working... so make sure you try the snails... keep me posted... dave

QUESTION: I have snails that I got from the pet store they said they were for puffers but it's not eating them.

Is he eating anything???? Try increasing the oxygen in the tank... you can do this by dropping the water level so that the water cascades out of the filter into the water... makes a bit more noise but does a good job of adding oxygen to the water.... Also I would get my water tested for chemical levels... he may have chemical poisoning or anoxia.... keep me posted... dave
